Christmas Gifts Donated by SMN Leicester to Children
and Elderly in Hospitals

On the 24th of December 2011, representatives of the
Leicester branch of Sant Nirankari Mission (SNM) headed by
Hardev Singh Ji, (Parmukh), presented Christmas gifts to the
elderly residents of Lenthall House and the children at the
Leicester Royal Infirmary.
On arrival at Lenthall House, a residential care
establishment for the elderly, the representatives were received
by the Assistant Manager, Bev Key and introduced to some of the
residents. The SNM representatives presented the residents with
gifts including blankets and bedding.
At Leicester Royal Infirmary they were greeted by the Play
Specialists; Susan Haywood, Anila Chauhan and Rachel Baker. All
the gifts were gratefully accepted and placed in Santa’s Grotto
for distribution to the children at the hospital over the
Christmas period.
Both organisations were overwhelmed by the generosity shown
by the Leicester Nirankari congregation and expressed their
gratitude. The Leicester committee are especially thankful to
Vinay Hansrani Ji who took the initiative as he has done in
previous years too, always with the cooperation of the
congregation to organise and provide donations for such a
thoughtful service in accordance with the teachings of His
Holiness based on love for all.
