Inter-Faith Seminar Held by Sant Nirankari Mission In Jaipur


Preachers of various faiths as well as leading members of
local intelligentsia evolved complete unanimity on oneness
of God and essential unity of humanity in an inter-faith
seminar on Universal Brotherhood and Revival of Humanism,
organized by Jaipur Branch of Sant Nirankari Mandal in
Jaipur on April 16, 2011.
The chief guest, Mr. Sunil Mehrotra, IPS, Additional
Director-General (Jails), Govt. of Rajasthan regretted the
falling human values all over the world. He added: “There is an
urgent need to strengthen our country’s age-old cultural and
spiritual traditions which have withstood the acid-tests of
adverse influences because of our eternal faith in pleasant
co-existence.”


Sant Nirankari Mandal’s Member In-charge, Prachar Vibhag, Smt.
Joginder Kaur, said: It is a standard policy of Nirankari
Mission to build bridges of understanding between all diverse
faiths and ideologies to bring out the latent universal unity
which proved that religion unites, it never divides and it is
living together in harmony”.
The celebrated author of the book “Matter and Non-Matter” and
Chairman, Punjab SC-ST Commission Shri Naranjan Singh IAS (Retd)
in his key-note address said: “God is both scientific and
secular and to be human is to be religious.” He appealed to
practitioners of all major religions of the world to highlight
the essential human-integrationist ingredients so as to save the
present-day humanity from further self-annihilation.
Reverend Prasad Abraham of Bethel Church, Jaipur in his
presentation said: “Lord Jesus Christ preached love as the one
point program of his ministry”. He elaborated the common origin
and destiny of humanity and emphasized Christianity’s
unconditional support to all human-unification efforts.
Hafiz Sadaqat Ali, a leading Muslim scholar-preacher of
Jaipur said: “Islam essentially preaches oneness of both God and
humanity and stood for love and compassion for everybody.”
Mr. Jasbir Singh, former Chairman, Minorities Commission
said: “Adi Granth Sahib, being the common heritage of humanity
stood for natural unity of mankind”.
Sant Nirankari Mandal’s, Zonal Incharge Tonk region
comprising eight adjoining districts, Mr. Phool Chand Bajaj in
his welcome address said: “Nirankari Mission honored all holy
books as sources of divine inspiration and is promoting unity of
God in the diversities of various belief-systems and cultures of
the world”.



Mr. S.L. Garg, Manager-cum-Coordinator, Prachar Vibhag, Sant
Nirankari Mandal who compered the one-day event, presented
various facts of similarities among all religions.
Mr. Manohar Lal Chhabra, Pramukh, Sant Nirankari Mandal,
Jaipur branch in his vote of thanks highlighted the exemplary
religious unity and harmony in Jaipur.
Other prominent speakers included Mr. M.S. Rattu, Dr. Subhash
Garg and educationists Mr. Ajay Pal Singh and Mr. Raj Kumar
Pareek.
A large number of members of local elite, belonging to
various faiths and ideologies attended the seminar.
