20th Annual Day Programme



The 20th Annual Fair of Sant Nirankari Adarsh Vidya Mandir Secondary School run by Sant Nirankari Mandal, Tikapur was held on February 19, 2011.

The Annual Day Programme was concluded under the supervision of Shri Nar Bahadur Raaval, President, Sant Nirankari Mandal, Nepal and President of the Managing Committee of the school. The Chief Guest for the programme was Shri Bhaskar Raj Pant, Deputy Director, Regional Office of Medium Higher Education Council and Guest of Honour was Campus Chief of Tikapur versatile campus, Shri Jagat Bahadur Singh Raaval.

Prizes and certificates were awarded to students who bagged first, second or third position in inter-school games competition. Teachers were also awarded for maintaining discipline in the school and hundred per cent students passing the exams in first or second division. In the programme, students presented a message giving skit along with cultural programme.

Highlighting the progress of the school to guests present, Principal, Shri Rakesh D.C. informed that with the blessings of Satguru Baba Hardev Singh Ji, application has been given to university authorities in Kathmandu for increasing the status of school to higher secondary from the coming academic year, as per rules of the Nepal government. Apart from this, from 2011, two teachers for Music and Drawing will be provided for help by Korean government for a period of two years.

On this occasion, local representatives of various political parties, learnered persons and other people were invited by school like Shri Hardev Bhandari, Shri Damodar Pandit, Shri Yagyamurti Aryaal, Shri Hemraj Timilsena, Shri Keshavraj Khanaal etc. Speakers mentioned about the contribution of Sant Nirankari Adarsh Vidya Mandir Secondary School in the area and prayed for the progress of school in the coming time.
