Medical and Health Check-up Camp organized in Tihar Jail,
Delhi




A free medical and health check up camp was organized by
Social Welfare Department of Sant Nirankari Mandal in the
Women's Ward of Central Jail, Tihar on August 3, 2011.
A total of 174 inmates availed the free medical facilities
provided by the camp.
The camp was inaugurated by Smt. P.L. Vinayak,
Superintendent, CJ-06, New Delhi who took personal interest and
guided the proceedings for the benefit of the inmates. She
lauded the efforts of the Sant Nirankari Mission in the field of
services to humanity.
Pujya Mata Sawinder Ji, the gracious spouse of Nirankari Baba
Hardev Singh Ji Maharaj, blessed the participants and
distributed sweets and fruits to the children of the jail
inmates. The medical team was led by Brig. (Retd.) P.S. Cheema,
Additional Member Incharge, Medical Health and Social Welfare,
Sant Nirankari Mandal. Dr. Ajay, Child Specialist alongwith Dr.
Urmila, Dr. Kamna Sharma, Dr. Narender, Dr. Manisha Mahajan and
Dr. Naresh Arora formed the core of medical team.
