A special congregation was held in Tihar Jail No. 8 in Delhi on June 8, 2011.  Rev Major JD Sharma, Member, Central Planning and Advisory Board, Sant Nirankari Mandal presided.  Besides a large number of inmates of the jail, the Jail Superintendent Shri Meena and Deputy Superintendent Shri Subhash Sharma were also present.

Addressing the congregation, Rev Sharma Ji inspired the inmates of the jail to reform themselves by surrendering their body, mind and wealth to Nirankar.  Once the Almighty dwells in the mind, it will keep the mind free from all kinds of evil tendencies like hatred, jealousy and ego.  Rev Sharma Ji advised them to be good citizens of the country and serve the nation, their parents and relatives and earn their livelihood through honest means.

Besides Rev Sharma Ji, Shri Sandeep Saxena, Shri Vinod Sai and several other saints addressed the gathering through songs and speeches.
