Nirankari Congregation held at Central Jail Vadodara

The Sant Nirankari Mission organized a special congregation at the Central Jail, Vadodara, in Gujarat on September 20, 2011.  While Major (Retd) J.D. Sharma, Member of the Central Planning and Advisory Board, Delhi presided, the congregation was also graced by Rev Baljit Kaur, Zonal Incharge, Vadodara, Rev Vidya Ji, Pramukh, Godhra Branch, Shri Adodhiya, Superintendent of Central Jail, Shri Rathod and Shri Sunderjeet, Kshetriya Sanchalak Vadodara.  Rev Sharma Ji presented books and articles on the ideology of the Mission for being used at the Jail Library along with the monthly subscription of magazine – ‘Sant Nirankari’ - Gujarati.

While addressing nearly 2300 inmates of the Jail, Rev Sharma Ji mentioned that we all are human beings made of five basic elements and born ultimately to die. We are all bound to make mistakes in this world.  Our ego always resides within us which creates hatred, jealousy and discriminations of caste, creed and religion. We forget that ultimately we are children of one omnipresent, all-pervading God. But when we surrender at the holy feet of the True Master, these negative feelings vanish and our soul becomes free to realize the objective of human birth. He concluded by praying to God for forgiveness for all.

Rev Baljit Kaur Ji, on behalf of the Vadodara Branch, donated some articles of furniture for the Jail administration along with toys for the children of the prisoners. She sought blessings from the Almighty for betterment of their family members.
