With the blessings of His Holiness, the
Social Welfare Department of the Sant Nirankari Mandal has
decided to help the Primary Section of Mussoorie Inter Girls
College at Mussoorie and pay the salary of its teachers for
one year. The department’s Additional Member Incharge Brig.
(Retd) P.S. Cheema handed over the first cheque of salary of
the teachers of the Primary School to the Principal of the
school on September 5, 2011 – the Teachers’ Day. He was
accompanied by Rev Harbhajan Singh Ji, Zonal Incharge,
Mussoorie and Dr Naresh Arora from Delhi.






The day was celebrated by the children of the school with a
cultural programme, which was attended by other students, staff
and several dignitaries and Members of Sr. Citizens Association,
Mussoorie. The NCC Cadets of the school welcomed Brig. Cheema
and presented an impressive drill.
The occasion was marked with the distribution of certificates
to successful trainees of the Sant Nirankari Tailoring and
Embroidery Centres at Mussoorie and Dehradun. The senior
citizens appreciated the efforts of the Mission towards the
social cause and also awakening the masses through spiritual
knowledge.
