


The Social Welfare wing of the Sant Nirankari Mandal,
Mumbai Branch along with their Sewa Dal volunteers came
forward to provide relief to the victims of the devastating
fire at Garib Nagar, Bandra on Saturday, 5th March, that
left about 2000 families badly affected.
Over two days, 7th and 8th March, the Mandal distributed
about 3000 bottles of drinking water and 8000 food packets
and biscuits. About 200 Sewa Dal volunteers and other Nirankari
devotees participated in the relief operation.
Humanity being the only guiding factor which makes the
Nirankaris to rise and provide relief to those affected by any
calamity, untoward incident or accident, the Nirankari Mission
believes in self-motivated selfless service to humanity and
stands committed to it at all times.
