Eye Camp for Cataract Held in Mumbai


November 27: Sant Nirankari Charitable Foundation in association with K.B. Hajibachhuali hospital arranged a free eye check-up and cataract operation camp at Mahim Fishermen’s Colony in Mumbai. This camp was inaugurated by a senior citizen from Mahim Satsang.  This eye camp was arranged for the poor and needy people of the Fishermen’s Colony. 

This camp was arranged by the social work co-ordinator of Sant Nirankari Charitable Foundation, Mrs Pooja Prem Oberoi along with the Sewa Dal volunteers of Mahim unit. Param pujya Dilbar Ji in his speech praised the efforts taken by Sant Nirankari Charitable Foundation towards the social welfare.  He also thanked the Sewa Dal for making the arrangements for this eye camp and also thanked Mrs Prem Oberoi for organising such social events which is not only beneficial to the society but is also contributing towards spreading the divine message of Sant Nirankari Mission.  

In this camp the 125 patients were checked up. Of these, 7 patients were identified for the cataract operation. These seven people were taken to K.B. Hajibachhuali hospital for operation the same day after the completion of the eye camp.  For the operations Sant Nirankari Charitable Foundation along with the K.B. Hajibachhuali hospital, has arranged for an ambulance, to take the patients to hospital and bring them back after operation, after two days.
