Ministry of Health, UAE organized a programme to honour the outstanding working teams and supportive companies to Blood Transfusion Services, on June 29, 2011 at Grand Hyatt Hotel, Dubai.

Trophies and Certificates were issued to 66 representatives including Sant Nirankari Mission (Universal Brotherhood) by HE Dr. Hanif Hassan Ali Al Qassim, Minister of Health, UAE. Dr. Amin Al Amiri, Asst. Under Secretary Medical Practice and Licence, Ministry of Health, UAE and other senior delegates were also present at the function.

Rev. Gurnam Singh ji, Pramukh of UAE with six representatives of ‘Universal Brotherhood’ attended the program.

Dr. Hanif Hassan thanked Universal Brotherhood for the contributions made towards the noble cause.

City 7 TV, a local news channel, took an interview of the Universal Brotherhood team and asked being an expatriate why Universal Brotherhood would be interested in blood donations in UAE. It was stated that blood should flow in veins and not in drains, blood can only be donated by human beings and this is the best gift one human being can give  to another human being. This interview was relayed on the City 7 TV news channel for number of times on June 29 and consecutive days.
