Blood Donation Camp Organized in Terracina in Italy
The Sant Nirankari Mission organized a blood donation
camp in Terracina in Italy on Sunday, June 12, 2011. Even
though about 100 devotees of the Mission offered to donate
their blood, the blood collecting team could oblige only 50
of them. This was the second such camp held by the Mission
in Italy during the last 6 weeks.
The blood donation camp was inaugurated by Rev H.S. Upasak
from UK. The blood collecting team that came from AVIS
appreciated the enthusiasm shown by the donors. The Mission’s
contribution towards social welfare activities has already found
praise from the government and non-government organizations.
The camp was followed by a congregation. Besides devotees of
the Mission, representatives from several other religious and
social organizations were also present. Addressing the
participants, Rev Upasak Ji said that true religion leads us on
the path of love, humility, tolerance and sacrifice for others.
Let us keep on marching while acting upon the teachings of our
great spiritual masters, Gurus and prophets.
