The Karnataka State Branch of the Indian Red Cross Society conducted the World Blood Donors Day at Bangalore University on June 14, 2011.  The society presented a special award to the Sant Nirankari Mandal, Bangalore for the highest blood donation.  Rev M. Manmohan Singh from Sewa Dal received the award on behalf of the Mandal, while Rev S. Sharma Ji and Rev Yogesh Mahey Ji were also present at the function.
