A Blood Donation Camps was organized on July 3, 2011 by Sant Nirankari Mission through Sant Nirankari Charitable Foundation at Sant Nirankari Satsang Bhawan, Kalka in which as many as 175 volunteers donated blood, including 28 women.

The camp was inaugurated by Rev Naranjan Singh Ji, IAS (Retd), now Chairman, SC and ST Commission, Punjab, Chandigarh. Encouraging the donors, he said that blood donation is a veritable proof of human oneness and cosmic integrity. He added that human blood has no substitution because it is a gift of the Almighty God.  He further said that the premier institutions of the city are highly appreciative of the spirit of the Nirankari devotees who always offer themselves gleefully and gratefully for the donation of blood.

Shri Pardeep Chaudhry, MLA, Shri S.S. Nanda, Shri Harbhajan Singh and Smt Ujala Bakshi, Municipal Commissioners and many other senior citizens were also present at the time inauguration. Shri Pardeep Chaudhry said that the devotees of the Nirankari Mission under the divine blessings of Satguru Baba Hardev Singh Ji Maharaj are saving many lives by donating their blood and are purely serving humanity.
