With the blessings of His Holiness Baba Hardev Singh Ji Maharaj, a blood donation camp was organized on June 19, 2011 in Sant Nirankari Satsang Bhawan Malviya Nagar in Delhi under the directions of Brig. Shamsher Singh Ji, Member Incharge, Medical and Social Welfare and Libraries.  Qualified team of doctors with their assisting staff from Indian Red Cross Society was present to conduct the camp.

The camp was inaugurated by Rev J.S. Khurana, Mukhya Sanchalak, Sewa Dal.  Despite hot weather about 200 devotees came forward to donate their blood.  After pre-donation tests, however, 111 units of blood were collected.

Earlier the young saints of the local English Medium Sangat and children of the Bal Sangat organized a rally in Malviya Nagar and sounding colonies.  They sought to create awareness about blood donation by chanting slogans like “Donate Blood - Save life” and “Rakt Dan Maha Dan”, etc. As a result many donors came to Satsang Bhawan to donate blood for the first time.
