84 Devotees Donate Blood in Karbala in Delhi



A blood donation camp was organized by the Sant Nirankari Foundation at the Sanatan Dharm Mandir, Karbala, Lodhi Road in Delhi on Sunday, July 3, 2011, where 84 devotees of the Sant Nirankari Mission donated their blood.  Organized under the guidance of Rev R.K. Mehta, Sector Incharge, the camp was inaugurated by Rev JRD Satyarthi, President, Sant Nirankari Mandal.

The blood collecting team came from the Indian Red Cross Society.  Dr. Santosh Kumar Sharma lad the 12-member team.  Every care was taken regarding hygienic conditions, pre-donation test and post-donation care.  Snacks were served to all the donors on behalf of the Foundation. The camp was attended by Shri J.S. Khurana, Mukhya Sanchalak, Sant Nirankari Sewa Dal also.

Addressing the congregation that marked the occasion, Rev JRD Satyarthi said that blood donation is a supreme act of human emancipation through which the donor can achieve emancipation for himself as well.  One achieves not only physical well-being but also the inner bliss.
