On April 23, 2011, saints from the Sant Nirankari Mission Brisbane Branch in Australia participated in a blood donation campaign at the local City Blood Donor Centre with the motto “Blood should flow in veins, not in drains”, where 28 saints donated blood.  There were many more who could not donate blood, but extended their services in other activities.

This campaign coincided with Manav Ekta Divas congregation on April 24, which commemorates the supreme sacrifice of Baba Gurbachan Singh Ji Maharaj, to uphold the ideals of truth, peace, tolerance and non-violence.  Langar was served after the congregation.
