Sant Nirankari Mission Sydney Participates in Blacktown Fiesta

Blacktown City Council organizes Blacktown Fiesta every
year. The objective of 2011 Blacktown Fiesta organized from
May 21 to May 28, 2011 was to celebrate the cultural
diversity with an amazing array of events that provided
council residents with fun, excitement and direct experience
of the arts & crafts of each culture. The one week festival
finished marvellously as a Street Alive & Parade on
Saturday, May 28, 2011.
With the blessings of His Holiness Baba Hardev Singh Ji
Maharaj, Sant Nirankari Mission Sydney, Australia, participated
in the Streets Alive & Parade to spread the Mission’s message.
The mission’s float consisted of a world globe wrapped inside
the gift box which had the tag, “With Love, from God.” The
message being conveyed by the Mission was that- Mother Earth is
a gift from God to us human beings. We should live peacfully and
in harmony with each other and appreciate the diversity created
by the Almighty Lord.
The entry of the Sant Nirankari Mission into the parade was
announced as: “The Sant Nirankari Mission believes in oneness of
God and unity of mankind. Realization of this oneness is
possible through the grace of the Spiritual Master Baba Hardev
Singh Ji. Realizing this oneness a person rises above negativity
and lives life positively...''.
About 75 members of SNM marched into the parade, wearing
attractive green t-shirts conveying the message - "Peace not
Pieces – Lets work for it". The members were led spectacularly
by the SNM’s ‘sewadal’ band. During the parade, the SNM members
distributed over 1000 bookmarks and brochure introducing the
public to the philosophy of the Mission. The members were
cheered by the local audiences and appreciated for their
discipline and dedication.
