On the 16th May 2010 a National Bal Samagam was hosted by
the West Midlands Branch of the Mission in the United
Kingdom. The young children were requested to register at
the Bhawan prior to the Samagam to join in an activity based
race organised by Sister Veena Palli, which was undertaken
to raise valuable funds for a new unit at the Birmingham
Children’s Hospital. A sum of over £250.00 was raised on the
day.
All the youth had travelled from far and wide and were
welcomed by a video presentation which had been prepared by
the youngsters of the West Midlands branch with the support
of brother Danny Sura. Numerous presentations created by the
youngsters reflecting the message of His Holiness Baba Ji were
displayed across the Bhawan premises.
The Samagam commenced at 11am and great contributions were
made on points of spirituality by youth from all over the
country and including some members who had arrived from
Scotland. Songs were sung, poems spoken and speeches delivered
to the delight of all gathered. It is a positive sign, that
youngsters were understanding the message of His Holiness and
putting it into practice.
Respected Sukhjinder Singh ji thanked all the youngsters for
their wonderful contributions and commented that must create a
good base for the youth and ensure that they understand the
knowledge of this Formless Nirankar.
The final discourse was delivered by Sister Sareena Naga of
London who shared her experiences with His Holiness Nirankari
Baba Ji advising that he is all knowing and we should value his
message. She commented that His Holiness advises that we must
express love for all and only then would we be following the
teachings of Baba Ji.
To end the Samagam a power-point presentation that had been
prepared by brother Shitaj ji about the work of the Bal Sangat
Community all over the world was shown on the big screen for the
benefit of all.
