On November 16, 2010, the road passing in front of Sant Nirankari Mandal Headquarters in Sant Nirankari Colony, Delhi-9 has been named as - 'Avtar Marg'.

Hon'ble Minister of Social Welfare and Justice, Government of Delhi, Shri Mangat Ram Singhal unveiled the Avtar Marg Plate Stone saying that this Marg in the name of Baba Avtar Singh Ji will keep his memory alive in our mind.  Referring to his intimate relationship with the Mission since the times of Baba Avtar Singh Ji, he narrated invaluable role of the Mission in bringing about spiritual renaissance besides promoting social welfare activities upto the present time of Satguru Baba Hardev Singh Ji Maharaj.  The Hon’ble Minister stated that Avtar Marg would be broadened and further beautified for which the planning has already been made.  This Marg, starting from the entry point of Nirankari Colony, and passing through Mukharjee Nagar will touch the Outer Ring Road.

Besides Dr. Iqbaljit S. Rai, President, Sant Nirankari Mission, USA,  S/Shri JRD Satyarthi, President; C.L. Gulati, Secretary, Kirpa Sagar, Member I/c Press and Internet of the Mandal and Shri Joginder Sukhija Advocate were present on this occasion.  An impressive assemblage of devotees also witnessed the function.
