The Sant Nirankari Charitable Foundation organized a Malaria awareness programme at National Association For Blind (NAB) School, Kings George, Anand Aahram on 4th August 2010 for blind children. Dr. Gopal and his team from Poddar Hospital told the methods of preventing malaria and distributed medicines provided by the Sant Nirankari Mandal to Malaria victims. Important points covered in lecture included, monsoon season diseases and their causes, prevention and treatment of Malaria, personal / social hygiene etc. The lecture was attended by around 50 persons including trainees and staff of NAB – DOR.

The important questions asked by audience and the corresponding comments of the doctors.  Also, Mr. Gaonkar from B.M.C. Malaria department told how diseases like Malaria and Dengue are spread from stagnant water and sprayed anti-Malarial medicines on behalf of B.M.C.
