With the blessings of Satguru Baba Hardev Singh Ji
Maharaj, the Toronto branch organized an entertaining
cultural evening on Saturday, July 10, 2010. Music, drama
and dance set the tone for Toronto’s 1st cultural evening at
the Sant Nirankari Bhawan.
Attendees of the event included local congregation
members, their families and friends. The event started with
a devotional song from Rev. Gulu Ji, who is on a spiritual tour from India.
Saints from all age groups participated in the event with
enthusiasm and passion. These saints had been working hard for
past few weeks to prepare items for this event. The cultural
items included rhythmic group songs, skits and regional dances
including Bhangra and Gidda. The colorful displays of costumes
and melodic tunes captivated the attendees of the event.
Youth saints also organized an exhibition that displayed the
history and messages of the Mission.
Throughout the evening, everyone enjoyed and appreciated the
cultural program portraying the message of peace, love and
humility.
