A blood donation camp was organized in Sirhind in Punjab
on August 1, 2010, where 258 devotees of the Sant Nirankari
Mission donated their blood. The blood collecting team came
from P.G.1, Chandigarh.
While inaugurating the Camp, Rev Amarjeet Singh Ji, Zonal
Incharge Patiala said that it was 299 the blood donation camp
held by the Mission this year since April.
In a message on the occasion, Dr. Rina Sandhu, Civil Surgeon
said that by donating the blood, one gives a new life to the
patient who receives it. She said that the value of even a drop
of blood can be realized when we find a patient struggling for
life for want of it. Moreover, one’s own blood gets tested at
the time of donation.
