The first ever Blood Donation Camp under the aegis of newly constituted Sant Nirankari Charitable Foundation was held at Mussoorie on 19th June 2010 in the premises of Garhwal Terrace situated at Mall Road.  The camp was inaugurated by His Holiness Baba Hardev Singh Ji Maharaj while Nirankari Rajmata Kulwant Kaur Ji and Pujya Mata Sawinder Ji also wer present.  As many as 305 units of blood were Donated.

Shri Jot Singh Gunsola, local MLA, Shri O.P. Uniyal, Chairman Municipal Board, Shri Manmohan Mall Ex-MC Chairman, Shri Javed Khan, General Secretary and other office bearers of Vyapar Mandal and several tourists were present, besides a large number of the Mission’s devotees, of course.

Rev. D.R. Bajaj, Vice President, Sant Nirankari Mandal and Brig.(Retd.) P.S. Cheema, Member, Sant Nirankari Charitable Foundation were present on this historic occasion. Medical teams from Government Doon Hospital Dehradun and Blood Bank, IMA Dehradun were there to collect the blood from the devotee-donors.  The programme was successfully organized by Rev. Harbhajan Singh Ji, Zonal Incharge, Mussoorie.

Shri Jot Singh Gunsola and Shri O.P. Uniyal both lauded the social initiatives of the Sant Nirankari Mission and also requested His Holiness to grace the city during winter also.

In his benevolent address Baba Ji said that blood donation camps are being held right from 1986 and it is the privilege of Mussoorie that the first ever camp under the aegis  of Sant Nirankari Charitable Foundation is being held here. His Holiness also observed that by donating the blood, we contribute our mite in the selfless service to the humanity.

The highlight of the programme was donation of blood by Pujya Mata Ji, Behn Sudiksha Ji and Brig (Retd) P.S. Cheema besides the noted theatre and film personality Shri Victor Banerjee.
