The Medical and Social Welfare Department of the Sant Nirankari Mandal, organized two blood donation camps one at Vidya Vihar and another Kurla on Sunday, August 22, 2010, wherein 365 Nirankaris donated blood. The Camp was inaugurated by Ms. Anuradha Pednekar, Local Corporator. Lokmanya Tilak Hospital, Sion collected 110 units at the camp.

At Vidya Vihar (East) the venue was Rajawadi Municipal School, wherein 255 units were jointly collected by Sir J.J. Mahanagar Raktapedhi, Byculla (175) and Sir J.J. Hospital, Byculla (80). The camp was inaugurated by Rev. Narbahadur Rawal Ji, Pramukh, Sant Nirankari Mandal, Nepal.

An Eye Check-up and Cataract detection camp was organized at the K.D. Gaikwad Municipal School, Sion Koliwada on Sunday, 22nd August, 2010. The camp was conducted by Haji K.B.Bacchuali Charitable Hospital, Parel wherein 116 people took the benefit.

Dr. Rajendra Kamtam, a local practitioner and a Nirankari devotee spoke about the prevention and precautionary measures for Malaria, for benefit of those present at the camp.
