A blood donation camp was held in Bangalore Sant
Nirankari Satsang Bhawan on Sunday, April 25, 2010. As many
as 391 devotees of the Sant Nirankari Mission donated their
blood. The blood collection team came from Indian Red Cross
Society. They ensured the pre donation tests while the
organizers took every care to provide a pollution free
environment.
The blood donation camp was marked by a spirit of
devotion and dedication among the donors. Everybody felt
excited to recall the words of His Holiness Baba Hardev
Singh Ji Maharaj that the blood should flow in veins and not
in drains. They also took it as a measure of gratitude to
the former Head of the Mission Baba Gurbachan Singh Ji and
hundreds of other martyrs who laid down their lives for the
sake of truth, love, peace and unity.
The camp was inaugurated by Rev Devraj Bajaj Ji, Vice
President of the Sant Nirankari Mandal. He also recalled the
contribution of Baba Gurbachan Singh Ji while leading this
Mission for 17 years. He described the donation of blood not
only as a golden tribute to the memory of Baba Gurbachan Singh
Ji, but a noble service to humanity also.
Shri Raju Chandra Shekhar thanked the Mission on behalf of
the Indian Red Cross Society. He appreciated the voluntary
sprit of the donors with which they came forward to donate the
blood.
