The Sant Nirankari Mission, with support of Canadian Blood Services, organized a Blood Donation Camp in Toronto on April 24, 2010. The Sant Nirankari Mission also organized similar blood donation camps in Vancouver, Edmonton, Montreal, Calgary and Mission.

The devotees of the Mission gathered in large numbers to donate their blood. One of the officials from Canadian Blood Services mentioned that he was amazed to see the enthusiasm of the donors. In Toronto alone, over 110 devotees registered to donate blood and 70 blood units were collected. The officials from Canadian Blood Services appreciated the participation and considered the blood donation camp to be very successful.

The Canadian Blood Services honored the Sant Nirankari Mission with the award of ‘Partners for Life’ for their continued support over the past 14 years. The Mission has been organizing annual blood donation camps in Toronto since 1997. Celebrating the volunteer week, the Canadian Blood Services also gave awards to the Nirankari volunteers for their hard work and contribution to the society.
