The Sant Nirankari Mission Brisbane has been organising blood donation camp to serve humanity for the past three years.  In continuation of this noble venture, a blood donation camp was organized by the Mission in collaboration with Australian Red Cross Blood Services (ARCBS) near local Nirankari Satsang Bhawan in Coorparoo, Brisbane on 29th April, 2010.

A mobile van for donating blood was stationed near the Bhawan between 9am and 4pm, where a total of about 60 devotees participated in this noble event and 40 devotees donated the blood. Mukhi Mahatma Rev. Mithu Ji encouraged all the saints and thanked ARCBS for organizing the event.

The blood donation camp was marked by a spirit of devotion and dedication among the donors.  Everybody felt excited to recall the words of His Holiness Baba Hardev Singh Ji Maharaj that the “BLOOD SHOULD FLOW IN VEINS AND NOT IN DRAINS”.  They also took it as a measure of gratitude to the former Head of the Mission Baba Gurbachan Singh Ji and hundreds of other martyrs who laid down their lives for the sake of truth, love, peace and unity.
