On the 2nd July 2009 a
highly decorated Indian Police Officer Mr Sarwan Singh
currently serving with the administration of Punjab, India
visited The Sant Nirankari Mission West Midlands Branch. He
was invited to join a Satsang which was conducted in the
English Language. The Mission’s teachings to show love and
respect to all of humanity, was the principal reason behind
the invitation and of course to extend a warm welcome to Mr
Singh who was visiting the West Midlands region.
Sarwan ji was impressed by
the youth contribution that he saw and said, he had made
arrangements to administer numerous Sant Samagams for the
Mission in India and was intrigued to learn about the
teachings of the Mission, but an opportunity for him to sit
and listen did never arise. He further said, “It is with
the grace of God, that today I sit here in England a
different country from mine and have been able to listen to
the message of this Mission.” He was pleased to also
interact with the Youth.
