In continuation to the ongoing chain of eleven camps
to be held in Chandigarh Zone in 2009, ninth camps was organized by Sant
Nirankari Mission with the blessings of Satguru Baba Hardev Singh Ji
Maharaj and under the able guidance of Zonal Incharge, Chandigarh Rev.
Dr. B.S.Cheema at Sant Nirankari Satsang Bhawan, Raipur Rani in which
127 volunteers including women donated blood for the service of
humanity.
The camp was inaugurated by a distinguished preacher
of the Mission, Rev. Col. C.S.Toor. He said that the Nirankaris already
share spiritual relations with the whole world. By following the
teachings of Baba Hardev Singh Ji Maharaj that, “Human Blood should flow
in the veins and not in the drains’, they have also established blood
relations with the whole world by donating 3,63,073 units of blood upto
the year 2008.
Mr.Ram Sarup wallia, Mukhi, Sant Nirankari Mission,
Raipur Rani Branch thanked all the donors and saluted the spirit of this
unique service to the mankind.
A 20 members team of doctors and staff led by Dr.
Ravneet Kaur, Blood Transfusion Officer, G.M.C.H., Sector 32, Chandigarh
conducted the hi-tech blood collection operations. The doctors
appreciated the enthusiastic response of donors which is a unique
feature in the Nirankari Blood donation Camps.
