The Sant Nirankari Mission organize a blood donation camp at Ridge Maidan, in Shimla on Monday, December 28, 2009, where 175 devotees of the Mission donated their blood.  The state Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh Shri Prem Kumar Dhumal inaugurated the camp.

In his inaugural address, Shri Dhumal lauded the contribution of the Mission to supplement the Governments efforts to provide better health care services.  He said that organizing blood donation camps is a sacred service towards the suffering humanity, as large number of people are in dire need of blood in hospitals, and to save their lives, people must come forward and take part in this movement.

Shri Dhumal thanked Nirankari Baba Hardev Singh Ji Maharaj for his generosity towards the suffering humanity and society.

Rev Rajwant Kaur Pramukh and Zonal Incharge, Shimla thanked the Hon'ble Chief Minister as also the donors.
