First European Sewadal Camp Is Great
Success!
The first European Sewadal Camp in
Breccias, Italy was a huge success. Devotees from all over Italy were joined not only be
their neighbours in Germany and Austria but also from a coach load of Sewadal from
England. In this first camp well over thirty new Italian members were presented with
uniforms and badges (by Rev. HS Upashik Ji in the Samagam held the following day).
As well as the usual PT and Parade
the Sewadal was also briefed upon the important philosophy of ‘Sewa in discipline’
and reminded of the great privilege it is to be a part of the Sewadal. Sewa done with pure
love and respect, and done selflessly to fulfil the need of that time is worthy of being
called true service.
Overall, this was a very inspirational and joyous occasion for all those involved and marked a new era of the Mission’s representation in Europe. The enthusiasm of the Italian members was an emotional sight and a reminder to all those who had travelled from abroad of the true bliss of selfless service.
