In my world he came …

- By Kulvinder Nagha

He came,
Though he never left me.
My eyes searched for him,
Though my heart was already in him.
I heard his voice in me,
When I drowned out my own.
My world is half complete,
When he stands not before me.

In the silence of the moment,
Let the one praise the one,
In his aloneness he is in company,
In company he is but alone.
Did our hearts hunger enough?

Were our thoughts deep enough?
Will it ever be enough – to reach one so pure in spirit?

Nothing moves him but Love,
I call out to him, although he is already within.
Be my guide Master, you’re the only one.
In this world of illusions, I have been broken.
Al my sorrows they rejoice,
They put obstacles to prevent my from joys.
They know not of your truth – so how can I fault them?
At his feet let me truly be. The dust of Master’s holy feet.
